    The latter has been associated with the development of MS disorders (Bos et al., 2004), and is coherent with the high prevalence of MS pain (57.1% over the past 12 months) reported by the larger group of Bulk drivers in the cross-sectional study conducted by Sekkay et al. (2018). Long working hours may be considered as a workplace stressor that can have a significant, negative impact on health status (Kageyama et al., 1997; Sparks et al., 1997). In their cross-sectional study, Williamson and Friswell (2013) indicated that long distance truck drivers in Australia were doing average working hours that were close to the legal limit for Standard and Basic Fatigue Management driver working hours (maximum working hours per week = 72 h) and well over one-quarter were doing more hours than legally allowed.
