*The sample size for this analysis was reduced due to missing values in the covariate included in the model: low birth weight (within 72 h of birth, with imputed missing values), 3008. Additionally, the 583 newborns who died in the first week of life were excluded from this analysis. After accounting for overlap in missing values and those excluded due to death in week one, the sample size was reduced by a total of 3462 newborns.
