Business/consumer | Providing a “good service” is important and so the practice focuses on patient choice and experience and maximising profits. |
Family | The patient is seen within the context of the family, the doctor thereby modifies their approach by their knowledge of that context. |
Social/public health | The doctor sees the patients’ health within a social and environmental context and seeks to influence these to promote health |
