40% reduction in total number killed or seriously injured in road accidents;In addition to the targets identified in the draft strategy, the GLA was committed to

10% reduction in slight casualty rate, (number of people slightly injured per 100 million vehicle kilometres).developing high level quality of life indicators.
Additional London targets:
40% reduction in number of pedestrians killed or seriously injured in road accidents; 40% reduction in number of cyclists and of motorcyclists killed or seriously injured in road accidents.IT was noted that it would be advantageous to integrate indicators of transport impacts on health in these wider frameworks so that they are embedded in on-going processes.
