In my view the paper by Llorca et al is important, among other reasons, because it again documents the declining strength of gene-disease associations as time unfolds.[1]
Furthermore, such findings have clear connections with findings made by clinical epidemiologists some 30-20 years ago, at least, and from then on (eg Sackett, Feinstein, Fletcher, Weiss) - among other areas, on...
