Louise Potvin is the holder of the CHSRF-CIHR Chair Community Approaches and Health Inequalities at University of Montreal and the Scientific Director of the Léa-Roback Research Centre on Health Inequalities in Montréal. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences; her research interest includes the evaluation of health promotion interventions, the local production of health inequalities, and the role of research in fostering innovations in health promotion practices.
