2022, Contemporary Clinical Trials CommunicationsCitation Excerpt :As noted in Table 2, ongoing monthly contacts by the implementation support practitioners engage a variety of the SISTER strategies, not only addressing technicalities of implementation, but also facilitating problem-solving, developing relationships, engaging stakeholders, collecting and evaluating data, and supporting adaptations for each school's context. With this project's primary focus on the exploration of how to improve implementation fidelity in rural schools, an implementation effectiveness trial [42] was designed to test a comprehensive bundle of implementation supports as compared to a standard training-only condition. This hybrid type 3 trial focuses on the fidelity of implementation of PBIS in rural schools, with additional exploration of the feasibility, acceptability, appropriateness, and costs of RS3.
