They stress the growing concern worldwide as to the potential impact of injury on different spheres of life, resulting in a demand for focused and highly effective prevention strategies. (page 850)

In Speakers’ corner, Aspinall calls our attention to the anachronistic use of the term “non-white” in UK governmental reports and scholarly writing at a moment of changing ethnic diversity, when a more refined race relations governance is necessary. (page 875)

In a review on attitudes to walking and cycling among children, young people and parents, Lorenc and colleagues arrived at the conclusion that interventions in this area must emphasise pedestrian and cyclist safety, perceptions of risk and parental norms regarding children’s independence.
