This book is a treasure chest of evidence gems. Each chapter offers a contextual gem that is appropriate for both front-line public health practitioners and decision-makers.

According to the authors, the purpose of the book is to provide “a comprehensive set of analysis and critiques of EBM,” which it does well. It successfully links the clinical beginnings of EBM to better healthcare practice, policy-making and decision-making.
